Dr. med. Ina Reichen is a specialist physician in neurology (FMH). Her main focus areas include neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis, as well as neuroinflammatory and neuroinfectious diseases of the central nervous system.
Dr. Reichen studied medicine at the University of Bern. She subsequently completed her neurological training at Inselspital Bern (Prof. Dr. Claudio Bassetti) and at University Hospital Zurich (Prof. Dr. Michael Weller). Her clinical and scientific focus during her training was on neuroimmunology/multiple sclerosis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roland Martin. This included collaboration during the special consultations for autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in multiple sclerosis. She also completed rotations in the neurophysiology departments for electroneuromyography (ENMG, Prof. Dr. Hans Jung) and electroencephalography (EEG, PD Dr. Marian Galovic). Dr Reichen subsequently continued to work as a deputy senior physician at the department of neuroimmunology and at the neurological emergency ward. She was also active as deputy head of the neurological day clinic and the in-house laboratory for cerebrospinal fluid diagnostics at the University Hospital Zurich with a focus on dementia diagnosis.
In addition to her work at the Neurocenters Aarau and Bellevue, Dr. Reichen is also active as a consultant physician at Hirslanden Clinic Aarau.
