Prof. Dr. med. Czaplinski founded Bellevue Medical Group in 2013 and has since served as its CEO and Medical Director. Before starting BMG, Prof. Czaplinski was a long-time senior physician at the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Basel, most recently as Head of the Neurology-Neurosurgery Outpatient Clinic. In addition to his responsibilities as CEO and Medical Director of BMG, Prof. Czaplinski remains clinically active. As a renowned specialist in multiple sclerosis, he primarily focuses on the treatment of MS patients at Neurocenter Bellevue and other BMG centers. Prof. Czaplinski is the author of numerous academic publications and a member of the Swiss, European, and American neurological societies.

Ms. Rijk Czaplinski joined Bellevue Medical Group in 2018 as Managing Director. Before joining BMG, she worked at Swiss Re as Vice-President in the Organization and People Development Department. Prior to that, she was at Novo Nordisk Group in charge of financial controlling for the Swiss Principles Unit and as business controller for Region Europe at Novo Nordisk. She worked in Switzerland, Belgium, South Africa, and Brazil. Ms. Rijk Czaplinski holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) and a Master of International Management from CEMS. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Mikolaj Czaplinski has been with Bellevue Medical Group (BMG) since 2022, first as Head of Health Economics and, since 2025, as CFO. Prior to joining BMG, Mr. Czaplinski worked as an investment analyst at Orbis Investments in London and at Calibrium Private Investment Office in Zurich. Mr. Czaplinski also has experience in digital health, having worked at Heal Capital in Berlin, one of Europe’s leading dedicated investment funds for healthcare technology. Mr. Czaplinski holds an MA in Law from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In his free time, he enjoys sports and travelling.

Denise Daprai has been with Bellevue Medical Group since its foundation in 2013. She has over 20 years of experience in the Swiss healthcare sector and extensive knowledge of both inpatient and outpatient processes. At BMG she supervises day-to-day operations, is closely involved in the hiring and training of new employees, and oversees inpatient invoicing. Ms. Daprai is an experienced leader with a wide network of connections in the medical field allowing her to manage key customer relationships at BMG. Prior to joining BMG, Ms. Daprai was the head of administration for Prof. Dr. med. Adam Czaplinski and PD Dr. med. Manuel Meyer.
