Rositsa Neumann
PD Dr. med. Rositsa Neumann is a specialist in neurology FMH. She is head of the outpatient clinic for epilepsy and specialized in electroencephalography, epileptology and sleep medicine.
Dr. Neumann completed her medical studies in 2000 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where she subsequently received her specialist degree in neurology in 2005. From 2005 she worked as a research physician in the Department of Neurology at the University Hospital Zurich. From 2009 she was a resident physician and from 2012 a senior physician at the University Hospital. From 2017 to 2019 she was deputy head of the departments of epilepsy and electroencephalography and of sleep medicine. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Neumann was active in research, including as a Postdoctal Fellow at the University of Chicago in 2007. She has published in renowned medical journals and was awarded the Venia Legendi for Neurology by the University of Zurich (2015). Dr. Neumann holds the SGKN certificates in electroencephalography EEG and sleep medicine SGSSC. Most recently, she worked at Center for Sleep Medicine (Zentrum für Schlafmedizin) in Zurich from 2019 to 2023.
