Book an appointmentProfessor Dr. med. Uwe Schlegel is a highly experienced neurologist with a focus on neuro-oncology. Until 2022, he was the director of the Neurological University Hospital in Bochum. He now leads the neuro-oncology outpatient clinic at Bellevue Medical Group. He has also taken on the task of advancing the expansion of neuro-oncology at Hirslanden Clinic Zurich in close collaboration with colleagues from neurosurgery, radiation therapy, and oncology. This is done under the umbrella of the certified tumor center of the Hirslanden Clinic (led by Professor Dr. med. Christoph Renner). Prof. Schlegel’s expertise will help expand the tumor center’s offering to include a conservative neuro-oncology clinic. This will provide patients and referring physicians with additional interdisciplinary expertise at the highest level.
